Bob is a well-respected Wall Street executive who built a reputation for integrity, process controls and risk management as he advanced from a brokerage margin clerk through several C-suites as a consultant specializing in consented receiverships and monitorships.
During his 27 years with Merrill Lynch, he advanced from an intern to leading major divisions of the company with 28,000 employees as CFO, CAO, and Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Development. He was recruited from Merrill Lynch to lead E.F. Hutton as its CEO, and later, at the request of Zurich Insurance Company, went on to become Chairman and CEO of Gruntal Financial, which was destroyed on 9/11/2001. Working since then as a financial and regulatory consultant, he is currently winding down a complex fund receivership and liquidation assignment from the NY Attorney General arising from the Bernard Madoff scheme. Bob also chairs the boards of two additional privately held companies, Steel City Re LLC, a managing general agency providing reputation risk transfer solutions, and C Huygens LLC, an intellectual property holding company and minority shareholder of Bellrock Intelligence. |
